Ways to stay informed and become involved

There are several ways to stay informed, have your voice heard, and help spread the word about growth and development in Anderson County…

1. Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DevelopAndersonResponsibly/

2. Visit the www.CDACR.org website regularly for updates.

 3. Attend County Council meetings in person if possible. Council members really take note  when citizens show up. You don’t have to present anything or speak, just SHOW UP! The more people that are paying attention to what they are doing, the more thought they will give their decisions. Remember, Council Members work for US. When attending meetings, if at all possible WEAR GREEN. It shows that we are TOGETHER!

 4. Get to know your Council Members as they are our voice and work for each of us. They are approachable and most are eager to hear from you. Keep the lines of communication open with them through email or phone call. Their names, photos, districts they serve and contact information can all be found on the County Council Website.

We also encourage you to attend city council meetings, school board meetings and planning commission meetings as well as get to know the other people who represent us in the community.

5. Help us spread the word! Tell neighbors, family, church members, HOA members, etc. We especially need to reach our neighbors outside of the Anderson area. Ultimately we’d love to have citizens from every corner of the county – Pendleton, Belton, Starr/Iva and more – all become a part of our grassroots movement. Encourage each other to become informed and actively involved at the county, city and school district level.
